Jerry reported on the National Guard's Thunder Run that was held on the Air Park side of the runway. There were only two runs this year due to lack of space taken by the air craft from Offutt. Over 400 runners turned out this year on a very nice morning. This event is a very good recruiting tool for the Nebraska National Guard. People of all ages showed up and were exposed to members of the National Guard and their helpfulness.

The AG contacted us as he would like to address the retirees' breakfast to brief us as to what is happening with the regular Guard. He will fit each breakfast into his schedule.

Ollie was informed by CMSgt Gemmell the Air Guard has produced a DVD with the 60 year history of the Nebraska Air National Guard. He is asking if retirees' might be interested in having one. Ollie got back to Gemmell and he will try to come up with some ideas.

As there was no more business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned.

Secretary
