3. Next BOG meeting schedule for:
a. 1 March 2005 @ NG Museum located on Court Street by the Bob Devaney Center.
4. LTC Ladd called the meeting to order at 1800 hours CST.
5. Opening Comments:
a. LTC Ladd started off the meeting by apologizing for the traffic from the Nebraska Basketball game, and that the meeting would be rather short due the ED having to leave early.
6. Secretary’s Report: CPT Huss
a. There was no secretary’s report from the January meeting due to not having enough representatives present for a forum, meeting was cancelled.
8. Treasurer’s Report: MAJ Stevens
a. Treasurer’s Report was approved by majority vote.
1. Issue brought up by Major Stevens, is if it was not the AGAUS revenue the Association would be in the hole. We have spent more money then what we have coming in. Major Stevens also informed the board, even though LTC Murphy is on a Title 10 Tour in DC he has still been working the sponsor’s issues. He has not generated any funds for the NE-NGA, but continues to bring in corporate sponsors for the AGAUS.
b. Anyone seeking to obtain a copy of August’s Treasurer’s Report can contact Major Chad Stevens @ 309-7372 or chad.stevens@ne.ngb.army.mil
9. Executive Directors Report:
a. CW3 Regan handed out Association Dollars Off Certificates (ADOC) which are certificates that entitles up to nine (9) passengers to a discount off a qualifying published Coach Class or First Class fare for roundtrip travel solely on Northwest Airlines flights between the dates of 12 September 23 September 2005 to the National Convention held in Hawaii. The average savings appears to be $70. Anyone interested or wants a certificate contact CW3 Regan @ 309-7117 or john.regan@ne.ngb.army.mil
10. Committee Reports:
a. Membership: LTC Ladd / CW3 Regan
1. CW3 Regan handed out the current membership number to the respected representatives (see below). Again we are pushing to get all membership dues in by NLT 30 March 2005. The reason for the push is, at this time the State receives a 5% refund on all dues received by 30 March 2005. We then get another 5% discount on 30 July for all dues received. So the more dues received by 30 March means more revenue for the Association.
